in the breed standard you read it says there snappy with children i have never ever seen one like that silkys LOVE people and children they are sturdy loveable never snappy BUT if you can get passed the puppy hyperness and stubborness til there about 2 then you will have the perfect dog
my silky is great with the gunieapig where brownie wants to eat it
silkys are forever stubborn where is pretty much they will do something when they wanna do it
if you were to own a silky and yorkie you would see the difference its kinda hard to explain
