My pup's mother was 12 pounds and his father 4 1/2 pounds. Go figure!

Anyway - you guessed it - I have a "big little Yorkie" .... which is perfect for me and my environment. He is about 8 1/2 pounds, and, honestly, he is still a very small little dog.

Neither I nor the vet could believe that this little dog weighs as much as he does. He isn't tall or big, he's slight in build, and when you pick him up, there really doesn't seem to be much to him. The vet said, "He's just must be solid....or maybe he's eating rocks!!!!"

He's going back to the vet in a week or two to get neutered, I'm anxious to see what he'll weigh this trip.
