Yes, very sad...I am really sorry you were turned down for adopting an adult doggie. Many seniors are in good health and have both the time and the love to give a little dog a wonderful home. We have always had provisions in our will for placement of our dogs and financial arrangements to cover their costs, because no matter what age someone is, life has no guarantees. In reading your previous post, I see that you were able to find a little girl to bring into your life. I know she will not replace your Teddy...we never can replace...but I am happy for you that you now have a new little love.
