Piper is 9 1/2 lbs and I, too, have been told she "can't be a Yorkie" because she's "too big." Well, what I have learned on this site is: A Yorkie is a Yorkie is a Yorkie. No such thing as a "teacup" and all that! And besides, I know what she is (Yorkie) and the perfect little pooch for me! And that is better than good enough!!!
