We have had Masha probably about a month now. She growls and runs over and jumps on Gracie, can't say she bit, but not sure. I noticed something this past week though. I took both dogs to my friends' house and Gracie was being loved on by the husband, while Masha was under my feet on a leash. She started growing and pulling to go to the husband. It was pretty obvious what she wanted: attention and petting... He was afraid she intended to bite, but it was quick to see she was jealous of the attention. Much tail wagging, growling stopped and she rolled over to get a belly scratch..She also runs to get between Gracie and me, if I am petting or scratching Gracie. I think things will be OK, but I guess she is a jealous Alpha female. |
