Why do you have a 7 week old puppy, that is way to young to have been taken from it's mother. I would not bathe such a young dog, brush the puppy daily. At 7 weeks old he has not had his first puppy vaccine, I would be very careful with this puppy, his health / life is at risk.
Have you taken this puppy to your vet, if not that is the first thing you do when you get a baby, get to vet 24 to 48 hours after you get any puppy.
