I am in the process of switching my two to Wellness LID Salmon. I picked that one. because it is small bites, grain-free and only one protein. I looked at Royal Canine and I didn't like the ingredients for the food. Also they didn't like dry chicken kibble before.
Thumper's stool after first eating can be soft right now through the transition period. I have about another week as I am doing it very slowly (also don't want to throw away my old foods)
I would choose anything that has one protein that way if there is a reaction you know which food it came from.
