Allergies are not only rampant to canines in general - but especially in yorkies - just ask any Vet Derm.
Royal Canin has so many potential allergens in it - I'd avoid it. If a dog is predisposed for allergies - there is really no sense in giving them a red carpet by feeding such common food allergens..whether or not food allergies are present in the dog.
Wellness Core is an excellent food. |
Here is the issue if a dog truly had a food allergy they couldn't eat dog food that was made in the same plant as what they are allergic to because of cross contamination so if they truly had a food allergy they would have to be on a prescription food with no cross contamination possible.
