I think Joey would bark at it the entire time lol. It takes two people to vacuum her because one has to hold Joey or take him in another room and shut the door and the one to vacuum. We don't really have big hair issues mine are kept short though so don't know if that makes a difference. Our biggest issue it what they bring in like Joey enjoys rolling in freshly cut grass. There was a story actually a pretty funny story about the dog pooing and then the robotic vacuum smearing it all over the house so that would be one down fall.
