I recently got a new puppy and looked into different ways of securing her in the car. I found videos showing what happens to different car seats, crates and harnesses during a crash.

After seeing this I hope I never have a crash with her in the car. I decided to use her crate. I put down the armrest in the back seat and buckle the crate in. This gets her higher so I can see her and she seems to like it.
