My husband retired this past January. Since then our little 2 years old boy has not had to stay alone much at all. He stayed in his tent while I was gone during the day when my husband worked. He loved his tent, would go in it on his own.
Now, if both of us leave he is real hesitant to go in. When we come back, he's pushing at the zipped mesh door to get out.
My daughter lives in Fl. 700 miles from us. We are driving there in a few days. Our baby has been there several times & has

done very well, staying in his tent with no anxiety. She now has a brand new built house in a different neighborhood. This will be all new & different for our boy. I know I can't just arrive there & expect him to be put up & everyone leave for meals or whatever they want to do. I'm very nervous about this trip so my Vet said we could try Zylkene to see if it helps him settle in a little quicker.
Sorry this is so long.
Thank you so much for your response
Ah...I see...you're trying to help him during the transition to this new place you're visiting. Hmmm...well, there is Rescue Remedy, calming sprays/balms, pheromone collars/sprays, Thundershirts, Melatonin, Valerian, a heating pad, Valium....
