For me, I like to put my babies in their dog carriers and have the carriers secured into the seat with the seat belt.
It took some training, but during our car rides they now nap comfortably in their dog bags. With them in their bags, it's less of a distraction for me while I'm driving so I feel it's safer for me and for them. |
Trust me when I say that doesn't work for dogs who get car sick. Dogs who get car sick almost have to see out.
