If you don't find a reputable breeder in your area, your next bet would be to look further to find one. Just make sure to be patient during your search and
not settle on an unethical breeder who's selling teacups as a business. You'll deeply regret it later on...

I would trust them to buy a healthy yorkie if I was looking for one myself. If they don't have available puppies, I would then consider asking them for recommendations. They may know of breeders closer by you. Show breeders frequently travel across the border to compete in shows and most know each other in the same area.
