Yes that's a lot!!! I give my little guy about 15mg 2x per day.
I have a little scale I got from Amazon that measures those tiny amounts.
At his worst, when he had a clostridium overgrowth, he was still only getting 50mg, which is not even close to 1/4 tsp.
