I would suggest a carrier that will carry a 6-10 pound baby. I am not sure if they make them with a smaller weight listed. If not, get one that will hold a 10 pound baby. Of course, no matter what you buy, your kid will make a silly person outta mom. They love making us look like we don't know what we are doing.. LOL Unfortunately, they are right much of the time..
