I wouldn't say I didn't/don't' have a problem with booties. I literally chased him around the house every day for two weeks and made him wear them. Then I'd hold a treat in front of his nose and make him walk a couple steps. Finally, he just gave up. He STILL hides when he sees me grab the coat and booties, but he no longer lifts up his paws in "agony" when he's outside.

I know what you mean about COSTLY ONES. My God! I grabbed some a couple weeks ago thinking they'd be $5-$6, and when I got to the car I realized they'd charged me $18 or something. Just be careful not to lose them, because they have a tendency to fall off.

Almost forgot: Shelby is adorable! Looks like she's got enough hair to stay warm, too!
