My dogs just don't like dog food. About the only dog food I have found that they will eat is Premium wet food. I do leave dry IAMs out all the time. If they get real hungry, they will eat some of this.
They do like people food -- of course!
I feed them their Premium in the mornings only (and not a lot). They can snack on their IAMs dry food all day - and I give them people food in the evening.
Of course, they love any leftovers I have, but they also like carrots, chicken, other meats, eggs, cheese, rice, etc.---and a lot of other foods.
Neither of my dogs is overweight and they are happy, healthy, and very playful.
I think my dogs are spoiled - and I did it. But, I know they like a variety of foods and aren't good about eating the same food day after day.
