Beneful is not good, looks pretty but that is all. I know I once fed it due to TV ads and its " healthy" kibble look, that is before I found YT and learned diet sense. Blue Buffalo is good, as is Wellness and both are readily available. Canine Caviar is good too but not easy to get except at specialist pet shops and mail. Rules are to find on the ingredient list, named meat first, no corn, no by products or un named meat products, made in USA, NOT China!!
As you will see on threads here, dogs vary with their likes and dislikes, and how their digestive systems tolerate foods. So it has to be trial and error. Try samples if possible, then most stores will refund the bag cost if the dog does not like it. Also it is good to transition new foods gradually by mixing the new and old over a week or so until it is all new.
