From the way you say this, it doesn't sound like the first ingredient is meat of any kind. This is really important, but all the ones I checked out, list a type of meat as the first ingredient. The other ingredients can be part of a nutritious diet. While I think it's important to check out ingrediants, it's really important to also know why those ingrediants are used, and what they do to the total nutritional value of the food. Also, it's my understanding that you want to avoid products that are listed as just "meat byproducts", but if they list the type of meat, it's okay. Just because a meat isn't sold at the butcher shop for humans, it doesn't mean it's not nutritious and perfectly acceptable. Lots of pork byproducts go into human foods and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
