I do this with my Male, Gizmo. He has Great hair, imo, but he's soooooooooo ruff on it. He rolls around in the yard, matts it horribly and often brings me back twigs and leaves that are stuck in it.
Every Spring I give him the short hairstyle (Summer cut) cause he likes to play outdoors more then.
