Hi Everyone,

We live in the Canadian Arctic (Nunavut to be exact) and recently adopted a 6 month old Yorkie from a family who couldn't take care of a rambunctious puppy.

We've named him Pepper and he's been with us for the past few weeks, stealing our hearts. The Arctic cold isn't really meant for a Yorkie so we have ordered him a lot of sweaters and parkas and booties to brave the cold - but for now he is a strictly indoor dog (who uses his pee pad 90% of the of time)!

Since we are new to Yorkies (my husband has always grown up with Labs, and I only had cats), we hope this forum will be somewhere we can learn a lot and make some online friends for Pepper!
