well apparently there is no height standard for yorkies.
i did some more reading and it says their height should be equal to their topline so they are a perfect square..
for example my oscar is 11" long & 11" tall but he is 1 year 4 months...
if you measure your little girls topline (base of neck to base of tail) that is how tall she should be..
it is not an exact science because not all yorkies are perfect squares but just to give you idea...
