I wouldn't use area rugs unless you never want area rugs that "are not" pee pads in your home.

Shoot, I have to pick up or keep doors closed off to any area rugs I have in my house, because Mandie will use them anyway. I think area rug = pee pad in the Yorkie mind. hehe
