Thanks so much Teresa...the furniture was Scotch Guarded...flame retardant was probably used as well. Learned yet another thing today...we now have the furniture covered with plastic until we can get this rectifyed. Am I exacerbating the problem by covering it? Also I never knew throw rugs with rubber backing attracts dogs to pee!

We got rid of the last set of furniture bc Orionn took to marking every sqare inch of it! We got him neutered and replaced the couch and chair...the marking stopped, I figure its the girls now using the couch and chair as their potty! HELP PLEASE. Cant afford to replace the couch again....
