Everyone has their preferences on shampoos and conditioners. I haven't found the one I'm "set" on yet. I'm still trying different ones. Yorkie Splash & Shine or Isle of Dog seem to be favorites around the forum.
Madan pin brushes and combs are excellent. I also just ordered a wooden pin brush (waiting for it to come in the mail) to try.
Go down to the Grooming subforum here and browse thru the threads...you'll get lots of ideas.
For nails, some use cat clippers. I just let my vet do it (since I don't have a groomer). I've always done my dogs' nails but Yorkies have black nails and it scares me to even try lol
