Harnesses are a must, they can be a lifesaver in an emergency situation if you ever need to pick your dog up very quickly by jerking them into the air and into your arms. I would never walk a Yorkie without one.
As for clothes, they do need jackets in cold climates. Many wear PJs at night, and/or snuggle under the blankets. Some wear boots to protect their feet from the snow. Mine love to wear dresses and vests, some for warmth and some just for fun. My one rescue loves to wear dresses... I can tell it makes her feel very special to get all dressed up! |
