There are NO free dogs in my area. I was looking before I got Joey (I always want to try and adopt first), and they were all mutts with rehoming fees over $200! No way! Not that I dont want the owner to think I am serious and will care for the dog...but when you are trying to get rid of a pet, you should think about the cost to a new owner. I would have to get a new crate, make sure they are up to date on shots, spay, food, etc..
