I been using human grade DE for years, I never had a problem with fleas, flys or any other pest, I also have it apply to my yard once a month in the hot months, as long as you dont inhale it is ok to use it..my hubby worked in NYC and it was a horrible bed bug problem in the city, I never had a problem in my home, DE kills those buggers too...
