By the way, we met some new people last night while we were out walking Layla. One old man had a little shih-tzu with him and he said to us that he's never seen a cart dog before and he just loved it. He and his wife have rescued so many animals in their lives, dogs with broken legs, lost legs, even one who was shot in the neck and left to die! They found him, rushed him to the hospital for surgery, and he survived and lived a great life. These animals never give up, so we shouldn't give up on them either!
