Last time I was at the ortho specialists I met a lady who had a dog with a prosthetic paw. I had never seen or heard of it before. The physical therapist came out and we talked for some time about it. Very interesting stuff! Certainly gives one a lot of hope. They did say that it really only works with dogs that have lost their feet...not for legs. But..hey...maybe in time.
Just today I ran across this totally amazing story of a red heeler who lost all four paws and has prosthesis.....Just so heartwarming!
The video brought tears to my eyes.
