I was asked to take a puppy out of a litter of 6 because the mother started killing the pups. It was her 1st litter and a mistake.
The pup was less than 24 hrs. old. He is now 11 months old and spoiled rotten, but it was extremely hard to raise him. I hardly had any sleep for about 8 wks.
I said I wasn't going to keep him before I got him, but there was no way I could let anyone have him. I have never loved a dog the way I love him.
Thanks, for the link I understand now what may have happened to make the mother dog do what she did.
