Default Various Manufacturers of Micro-Chip ID

I need to do an "Add On" to my previous post...

Just did a quick search on Manufacturers of these items..

There's more than Six as of today !

They are trying to keep the Frequencies to three...
those being 125/128/134 kHz.

This is going to be very difficult, given that Manufacturers
outside the USA, are making these things, and "may" make
Scanners which will read the presently "known" frequencies.

SO, if you took anything that I have said, to mean not to ID
that's NOT what I'm trying to do here ! It's a very good idea !

I just emphasize that you must know what Chip you have.
Be ready to provide that (complete) information to a facility
which may assist you in recovery or ID'ing you animal for
any other reason, where they will know which Scanner to use,
and or provide that information to another Facility.
