I have a dog that tends to have a low sugar problem. I used to give her the 'nutrical' but my vet says honey works better because it stays in the body longer. It is high calorie and sweet so they really like it, and it might make him want to drink a little more also. Good luck |
Honey can have bacteria in it and could cause further problems in an already sick and very small pup. Nutri-cal is good, or karo syrup or Dyne. My vet has told me that the karo gets into the system faster than the others.
