As long as mine were getting some people food, and canned dog food, they were not eating kibble at all. I found the best thing is to get them used to the kibble without anything else at all. Once they have been eating the kibble fine for quite a while,then they can have an occasional treat of other food.
I like the tiny kibbles like Solid Gold Wee bits and even Royal Canin, and Canidae Chicken & Rice All Life Stages has been a favorite of ours. Orijen is another top quality brand.
You can home cook for your dog with very healthy results. Just get some good input about what all to include to ensure all health concerns are met. Yorkiedaze is a good one to ask for advice on that one. |
