Parents size does not guarantee what size the pups will be. Many people think this to be true, but there is a lot to genetics. You would need to know the grandparents size, the uncles, and aunts, and siblings of all involved to be sure. Rule of thumb guess is to double their weight at 12 weeks of age. But again this is only a guess. Some lines of yorkies grow very fast at first and some continue to grow slowly over the year. What were their weights at birth, even though weight at birth cannot guarnatee you adult size either. I know, it is confusing. Once a breeder has been breeding their line for awhile and know the pups time and time again their adult weight, then you will have a better idea of their adult weight.
