Default My solution to spot flea treatments!

For years I have been applying beneficial nematodes to my lawn and the only time I get fleas is when I have procrastinated getting the nematodes out. Now I am religious about it twice a year. I have spread the word in our neighborhood and now have several close neighbors doing it as well.

Beneficial nematodes are cheaper than flea treatments, organic and harmless to all but the larvae of fleas, ants, chinchbugs, etc. They penetrate and feed on these larvae preventing them from hatching.

You may still get a stray flea that dropped off a passing animal but again, we have a lot of dog-walking in our neighborhood and I don't even get a stray flea. The best part is no pesticide on our furbabies!
