Yep, I saw this on the news too yesterday. I also live in GA. When I heard about it - my comment too was she left the dog in the car on the hottest day of the year!!! If she really cared about it, she would have had her sister in the car with the dog and have the AC on! Period! Some people can be so dumb.

There was someone last year that had their dog in the car at Ingles. I went in right away and contacted the store manager. They made an announcement over the intercom and called the cops. She was in so much trouble, but when she was confronted with all this she did nothing but complain. She stated she was only going in for a minute, yet she had her three kids with her in the store. One child was about 14-15 years old.
