It usually only takes me about 2 weeks to get my papers back from AKC and I usually have the registration AKC papers already in my possession when pups are placed.

I would be on this breeder's case if you have done everything you were suppose to do. Go back to your contract and restate what the breeder put in there about papers. If you were suppose to have her spayed and send in the paperwork as proof to the breeder to get her papers, be sure you do this.
