Certain pain medications can be very hard on the stomach, and I wonder if the pain medication could have caused a secondary problem with a upset tummy, giving pain medications with food can help tremendously, or perhaps giving some Pepcid will help with the tummy problem, although, intense pain can also cause nausea/vomiting and food refusal. Also, do you have a heating pad, you could set on warm; I know heat helps with arthritis. So sorry she's having problems, sending prayers your way. |
