I learned long ago that if I cannot directly help one, I send around to everyone that I can. I then do not look back because quite frankly it makes me sick to my stomach. Many of them are euthanized and there is just nothing I can do....so why even call to find that out? Rescue, while very rewarding, is also extremely depressing. We cannot save all that need to be saved. |
I understand you can't save them all
And you sometimes have to just remember the ones that you found homes for. You are one special lady, and their will be a special spot in heaven for you.
