What's more important is that people in every state write their lesiglators and tell them that we *DEMAND* stronger rules to clamp down on puppy mills. There was a bill in the Texas Lesiglature that died earlier this year that would have made what this woman was doing a felony -- at best, it will be charged as a class A misdemeanor. It's actually unlikely that Mrs. Boyd will do any time.

If we want the culture of "dogs as livestock" to end, then we must no longer sit idly by.
