that is really high for our area. Are you looking for a show dog though? If you are looking for a really cute pet, I think that's pretty high. I paid $1400 for my first one, $1000 for my second girl, and $1200 for my newest girl. Esp. since right now prices are down. My friend charges between $700-800 right now. At one time I paid $2k for a boy that should have been a perfect stud...got him from a show breeder. But he ended up being defective (poor guy...he was a great pet) and i couldn't use him for a stud so I had to rehome him. I paid way too much in my opinion.. and that was before the economy crashed. But that's my opinion. If you are willing to pay that much I guess it's okay. She does have nice looking dogs though. Make sure you are able to check out the temperament of both parents. It really does matter. Good luck!
