I'm so happy that Lilly seems to be doing better. However, if you still feel there's something wrong, go with your gut feeling. Is there a Veterinary college near you? Vet schools seem to be up on the latest diagnoses and techniques. My little baby , Tucker seemed to have a different gait, and seemed clumsy at times. Two vets thought it was sore muscles. WE were visiting in Florida, and I took him to University of Florida Vet school. He was diagnosed with Atlanto Axial Instability---a very serious neurological problem.
