I also feel Natural Balance is a little low on protein. We are currently feeding our dogs Nature's Variety Prairie chicken and rice formula which has 26 protein. They seem to like it and do well on it. It is also an ALS food. We have 5 dogs that range from a 12 yr old 117 lb Shepherd/Chow mix to a 5 month old 6 lb Yorkie pup.
