It definitely sounds like he is sore.
I was quite concerned about giving mine the shot too, however several severe lepto cases have been diagnosed right in my area. So before he got the shot, I had the doctor give him a steroid and then I stayed an extra half hour at the vets to make sure that no side effects would arise. I have one of those great vets that will call you after hours just to check on your pup.
I would try to keep him as still as possible and allow the injection site/ muscle to rest. It should not take long for him to heal. |
