yea, i also taught milu some commands on my own as well. they are very smart little dogs. part of the reason i started milu on the first class (besides the fact that milu's vet really recommended it) was because if she ever wanted to attend puppy 2, she would have had to attended puppy1 , and there was an age limit when the dogs can attend these classes.
in puppy two, they will teach them emergency recall, and long stays. so i am really interested in learning that.
