I know I love my dogs a lot. And the article is right about how our views have changed - I know even ten years ago you couldn't find dog clothes easily - not at main stores like Target and Walmart anyways. Now it's normal for people to see their dogs as true extensions of their family.
However, I still think that if I saw a stranger's child and my dog in danger, I would still attempt to save the child first. Now if it was an adult....I'd have to think about it. |
