Question Options for Neutering

I have a couple of options when it comes to neutering and think I know what I am going to do, but would like a little advice anyway. When I bring him to the vet's office. He can get the exam, sedation, anesthesia, respiratory monitoring, blood clotting screening, antibiotic injection, pain injection, and a nail trim. That is included in the price. I can upgrade to all of that and cardiac monitoring, IV catheter and fluids, and a mini chem panel to check liver and kidney functions. It is an extra $35. Do you think this is something I would need to get, or do you just think they are trying to get more money. I talked with two good friends and they both had conflicting answers for me. One thought I should get it, one said I shouldn't. I just want to get what is best for my little guy. Please suggest what you think you would do.
