It is, indeed, a sad sad situation. I am surprised that the journal is allowing comments again. They turned off that feature up until now on this story.
I wish the family well, I know the mother is going to spend the rest of her life regretting her decision whether it was right or wrong. She will be saying "if only" to herself till she dies. She doesn't need any criminal charges against her - she will punish herself.
I wish they could have let the dog live. Do you think the mother gave them some information that led to that decision or do you think they just got rid of it on general principle. |
