I was taught from a very young age never to buy puppies from any pet store (unless its like the SPCA adoptions at the store) because most of the time they do come from puppy mills. Now it seems like common sense but some people just dont catch on. Honestly, I had NO CLUE that puppies usually came from puppy mills at puppy stores. In fact, I ABOUT bought a puppy from there, but it was just too expensive. Luckily I found Baxter a couple months later. Still, people are very naive when it comes to pet stores. They just don't know. And like Akbritt said, we just have to keep telling people how horrible pet stores are.
